Tim Crobons

Tim is the head of Nelson\Nygaard’s Orlando office and has over 35 years of transit planning experience around the country with emphasis on short and long-range planning projects and operational efficiency analyses. Tim has managed many short-range planning projects, including comprehensive operations analyses, system restructuring plans, and transit development plans. His long-range systems projects and corridor plans include BRT, LRT, HRT, streetcar, and commuter rail efforts. Many of his corridor project efforts have helped support successful FTA Section 5309 New Starts program grants. Tim’s prior experience at transit agencies in Tampa and Orlando provides him a unique perspective on identifying opportunities and challenges for successfully implementing service plan proposals.
