Sam Huffman

Sam's goal is to offer thoughtful solutions to improve transportation. To do this, he combines his work experience in public transit planning and scheduling with his urban sociological background; this combination provides a holistic vision that emphasizes the needs of key stakeholders and accounts for marginalized groups. Prior to joining Nelson\Nygaard, Sam worked as a planner and scheduler for Breeze Transit in Sarasota, FL, where he made sure that bus schedules were as accurate and efficient as possible. He was also involved in on-vehicle, dispatching, and scheduling software improvements.
