Nicole Larson, AICP

With a background in transportation planning and policy analysis, Nicole focuses on increasing equitable access to transit for all communities. She believes that transportation is an essential service that should be sustainable, affordable, and accessible for everyone, and she uses her background in planning to advance context-specific transportation solutions. Nicole’s experience includes planning and designing pedestrian infrastructure and transit solutions to improve safety and mobility.  

Prior to Nelson\Nygaard, Nicole worked with under-resourced communities to improve pedestrian safety and driver yielding behavior with the Seattle Department of Transportation. Prior to that, she worked to advance deep decarbonization solutions in the Pacific Northwest.
