Milbrey is an experienced leader helping build transit networks that provide equitable mobility options for our communities.

With more than 30 years of public and private sector experience, Milbrey is the head of Nelson\Nygaard’s Atlanta office. She has worked on a variety of transit projects with an emphasis on developing transit service plans for both short- and long-range projects. Primarily in the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, Milbrey’s short-range projects include transit development plans, comprehensive operations analyses, and transit feasibility studies. Her long-range project experience, (including FTA Section 5309 New Starts projects), encompasses corridor studies of BRT, LRT, streetcar, and commuter rail. Milbrey is certified through the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a member of the American Planning Association, the Georgia Planning Association, and the Georgia Transit Association.
