Michael Riebe, PE
Michael is an expert in synthesizing high-level planning vision with fine-grained technical expertise. From traffic calming to campus master plans, he is adept at tackling complex dynamics and competing needs to find the best and most innovative way to use limited space for all modes of travel. Michael is able to communicate complete streets design and traffic engineering in a simple manner to show the public how changes to the right-of-way can improve equity, health, and the quality of life for their communities.
Michael manages a wide range of street design efforts and transportation analyses for complex networks, as well as travel demand models from large-scale general plan updates to small urban site developments. His designs include award-winning bicycle facilities, corridor streetscape designs, pedestrian safety projects, and downtown network overhauls.
