With a background in public education and nonprofit management, Marya builds elegant, efficient, and impactful programs focused on the needs of participants and other careholders. She constantly refines her approach based on data, capacity, and program goals, and she grounds all her work in equity, inclusivity, and belonging.

Her experience as a classroom teacher in Bay Area public schools helps her empathize with the students and educators she serves and deepens her commitment to improving young people’s access to quality, affordable transit.
