Kate is passionate about strengthening the relationship between cities and transit agencies.

With over a decade of experience in climate, multimodal, and transit planning, Kate has helped cities advance complex corridor projects and policy reforms through robust outreach, strong case-making, and technical design toolkits and frameworks.

Kate is a strong communicator who inspires innovation and engages thoughtfully with partners to develop plans and projects that are both transformative and actionable. With her prior work experience at NACTO, King County Metro, and SFMTA, Kate has a wealth of expertise in bus rapid transit, federal transit policy, transit operations, complete streets, and congestion pricing.

Kate prioritizes elevating the experience of bus riders and addressing the barriers to accessing reliable transit. While at NACTO, Kate was the lead author of Move! That! Bus! Tactics for Transforming Transit in Two Years, an action plan for improving bus service and curbing transportation emissions.
