Jonathan Mosteiro, AICP

Associate Principal
Jonathan believes in the opportunity for transit corridors to shape more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous cities.

Between his architecture training and his transportation planning experience, Jonathan brings a passionate commitment to improving the built environment and how we move around it. He has a track record of using his technical knowledge and design skills to help articulate opportunities and tradeoffs of major transportation investments to both decision-makers and the community at-large. Having led projects where transit agencies are both clients and key stakeholders, Jonathan has a strong understanding of the role that high-capacity transit can play within complex regional transportation networks.

Jonathan's project experience includes serving as a major task lead for both the system-wide and project-level feasibility studies for Austin's ambitious light rail expansion plan. He also served as part of the leadership team assisting CapMetro and the City of Austin leveraging this unprecedented transit investment to create truly equitable transit oriented development across the city. In Colorado, Jonathan led the work to transform the City of Denver's transit vision to an implementable program of projects, including a detailed diagnosis of bus delay and short-term improvements to get buses moving faster.
