James is committed to serving people by connecting the places where we learn, work, play, and build relationships.
James’s approach to transit planning is motivated by a background in climate science and sociology. He believes that sustainable, effective transit is the key to tackling climate change and furthering equity. He’s most excited about using GIS, data analysis, and on-the-ground fieldwork to modernize bus routes to become more streamlined, efficient, and reliable. James has assisted in bus route design and redesign for Philadelphia, PA; Montgomery County, MD; and Arlington and Fairfax Counties, VA.
