Dan Nelson, AICP

Dan brings more than 15 years of experience leading and supporting transit planning, design, and program management contracts across the United States. His expertise spans all surface transportation modes, with a particular emphasis on comprehensive operations analyses and bus network redesigns, corridor studies, long-range system plans, and implementation phase services. Dan takes pride in delivering innovative solutions to complex mobility challenges and has helped drive the development of new data-driven service planning tools and analytical techniques during his time at Nelson\Nygaard. Dan is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association and is a graduate of the Class of 2014 Emerging Leaders Program.
