Chinmai Deo

Chinmai is passionate about finding practical solutions to mobility challenges. He believes this can best be achieved by drawing on best practices established by model cities around the world and conducting thoughtful community engagement to adapt those solutions to the unique local context. Before joining Nelson\Nygaard, Chinmai advocated for better buses in Greater Boston with the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy and LivableStreets Alliance. He also interned as a data analyst with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and performed sustainable transportation policy research with the Energy and Resources Institute in India. Through these experiences, Chinmai has built a solid mix of data analysis, planning, and policy expertise, which he uses to maximize the social benefits of his work.
