Carly Haithcock, PE

With a background in civil engineering and city planning, Carly provides a human-centered approach to technical problems. She has specific expertise in quick-build and final design projects, ranging from painted bike lanes to protected intersections, as well as pedestrian and transit facilities in a retrofit environment. Prior to joining Nelson\Nygaard, Carly had been in purely engineering roles, and now she appreciates the opportunity to approach problems from a broader perspective. Carly also serves as a board member of a nonprofit in Austin, TX, seeking to complete a 32-mile trail alongside a commuter rail line.
