Alyson Fletcher

Active Transportation and Safety Sector Co-Lead
Alyson bridges planning and design.

For more than 15 years, Alyson has helped communities solve transportation problems through a design-informed approach. She has worked on all sides of transportation planning, landscape architecture, and architecture, which empowers the depth of leadership she brings to interdisciplinary teams working to build better places through better streets. Alyson specializes in downtown and area plans, walkability studies, trail safety plans, street concept designs, and campus master plans.

Alyson brings a perspective to projects that balances a strong attention to detail with seeing the bigger picture in a project’s context. Alyson loves working on projects that unpack the process of going from a plan to getting projects built and realized—distilling what happens when and why it matters. Alyson's work has led to built projects such as trail safety improvements along the Charles River pathways in Boston to street restriping projects in downtown Tulsa, OK.
