Sarah is passionate about planning for people who use and inhabit the built environment every day, and she excels in graphic design and visualization to tell stories about the communities she serves. Sarah began her planning career working in architecture and design. She values activation and connectivity as integral parts to successful projects. Her experience includes working on the design and construction for a natural playscape in upstate New York; implementing road diets in high-crash corridors; and developing a proposal for informal housing, living, and food structures in Seattle. Sarah also helped lead the PedPDX Progress Report in Portland.
