Roberto brings over five years of planning experience in the public and non-profit sectors to his work focusing on community development, transportation planning, and public policy. Roberto is an enthusiast of pedestrian and bicycle spaces in cities. He has strong skills connecting data and public policy analysis to achieve equitable outcomes.
Prior to working with Nelson\Nygaard, Roberto worked for the World Resources Institute, where he used statistical skills, GIS analysis, and transportation modeling on origin-destination matrices and services accessibly. Roberto was also head of the mobility team at Mexico City’s government-run innovation lab, where he led the implementation of the first bus route with fixed stops and times in the city, among other city-wide transportation and mobility solutions.
