With a background in transportation planning and policy analysis, Nicole focuses on increasing equitable access to transit for all communities. She believes that transportation is an essential service that should be sustainable, affordable, and accessible for everyone, and she uses her background in planning to advance context-specific transportation solutions. Nicole has experience planning and designing pedestrian infrastructure to improve safety and mobility. Her graduate work focused on working with under-resourced communities to improve pedestrian safety and driver yielding behavior with the Seattle Department of Transportation. Previously, she also worked to advance deep decarbonization solutions in the Pacific Northwest.
