Meghan specializes in complete street concept designs, trail system and concept plans, downtown and small area studies, transportation master plans, and implementation plans that give communities multimodal options to get around safely and enjoy where they live. Especially in urban environments, these projects require balancing competing needs and working with limited space and resources. Meghan believes a people-centered approach is the only way to understand how public spaces really function and to design thoughtful solutions that work for everyone. She is known for being curious and facilitating meaningful, inclusive community engagement that guides planning and design decisions to solve the problems that matter most. Her experience with geospatial analysis, graphic design, and data analysis allows her to translate complex ideas into actionable decision points and identify creative solutions.
Her previous work includes Metro Atlanta projects like the Peachtree Shared Space, Forsyth Street Multimodal Corridor Plan, and the Suwanee Pedestrian and Bicycle Loop Study, as well as projects across the country like the U.S. Capitol Transportation Master Plan and the City of Austin’s Urban Trails Plan. In addition to transportation and urban design projects, Meghan has experience with land use, zoning, comprehensive planning, and market analysis that give her a holistic perspective on what it takes to create walkable, inclusive places.
