Krista brings expertise in transportation programming with a focus on demand management strategies. Her experience includes working with public and private sector clients, spanning North America. She has developed sustainable transportation strategies and programs and performed feasibility studies to evaluate how to organize and deliver effective demand management programs. Her approach is to blend systems-thinking analysis with best practice research, while intersecting planning, outreach, and management strategies that create balanced transportation systems that benefit everyone.
At Metrolinx, the regional transportation planning agency in the Toronto region, Krista coordinated commuting programs and facilitated regional program participation. In New York, she performed a study evaluating opportunities for the integration of technological interventions to improve transportation flows for a large produce market in the South Bronx, and supported the development of a wayfinding strategy design project in Lower Manhattan.
