Jesus joined Nelson\Nygaard after completing his Master of Urban and Regional Planning at UCLA. Previously, he was a planning intern for the Transit Division at the City of Pasadena, CA, where he successfully developed a data-management tool and carried out several transit data analyses, including ridership, on-time performance, and corridor studies. More recently, Jesus participated in the Miami Beach First/Last Mile Connections to the SMART Plan, as part of the City of Miami Beach’s Transportation Master Plan update, where he mapped existing and proposed bicycle facilities and analyzed bikeshare and other data. His experience as a pedestrian, cyclist, and transit rider in different cities provides him with a distinct perspective of transportation issues, allowing for more context-sensitive solutions.
