Jackson has worked in transportation for close to a decade, with experience serving in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. He has a strong interest in planning that promotes all non-car modes, particularly in underprivileged communities that may lack the infrastructure and facilities necessary to get around safely. As a big fan of data analysis, Jackson also gets giddy at the mention of large transportation datasets.
From transportation research and network modeling to short-term transportation pilots to drafting TOD, bike, and pedestrian plans, Jackson has worked on a variety of fun and interesting projects in his career. Before joining Nelson\Nygaard, Jackson worked in transportation data analysis at AECOM and incorporated bicycle and pedestrian components into new development projects at Big Red Dog Engineering.
