With a background in architecture and community planning, Devyani’s focus is the intersection of placemaking, land use, and transportation. She specializes in geospatial analysis, data analysis and visualization, research, and community engagement. Devyani is also a member of Nelson\Nygaard’s Visual Communications team and can illustrate complex transportation ideas using compelling graphics. Previously, she worked on university campus plans to improve campus mobility and helped develop strategies for transit equity. As an architect and conservationist in India, Devyani worked on restoring some of the oldest structures in the City of Mumbai, some of which have won UNESCO recognitions.
