Dan pursues sustainability and resilience in transit planning, transportation demand management, campus access, and multimodal networks. He began as an advocate for public and active transportation in Michigan, at the local, regional, and state level. With this community-oriented foundation, Dan approaches problem solving with strategic poise and thoughtful passion.
Dan brings to the table experience in sustainability planning, urban design, and public policy. His technical experience includes data analysis, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and web content management. Previously, he worked in service development at a small urban public transit agency, where he was involved with projects spanning sustainability, strategy, intergovernmental relations, rail service planning, limited-English proficiency communications, and public engagement.
