Ashley specializes in transit system planning and multimodal corridor development, with nearly fifteen years of experience in urban and transportation planning. She is passionate about bringing diverse groups of stakeholders and community members together to build a common and actionable vision. A collaborative thinker who works to create strong regional partnerships, Ashley excels at building consensus to deliver ambitious transit solutions in an increasingly constrained funding environment.
While with King County Metro Transit, Ashley managed the community mobility contracts program, overseeing the implementation of the City of Seattle’s $35 million transit service funding agreement. She also played a key role in designing and launching Metro’s first Alternative Services Program, bringing innovative public transportation options such as real-time ride-sharing and community transit hubs to smaller communities throughout King County.
