Commuters to California State University, Long Beach are straining the university’s transportation resources and creating congestion. Officials wanted to make a shift in the fundamental nature of the campus away from a commuter school and to invest in a transportation system that supports all modes of travel.

The report also included a full environmental inventory and analysis of all campus affiliates to determine the impact of current TDM programs and the potential for future programs to reduce the school’s carbon footprint.
