Pete has more than 13 years of transportation planning and traffic operations experience. He specializes in consensus building and collaboration to create successful and meaningful projects. As a professional planner, he is committed to educating and better communicating about the planning/environmental process and maintaining a high-level of transparency. Working with both public organizations and private businesses, Pete helps identify opportunities and constraints of project and program development, and puts the interests of those affected at the forefront of the conversation.
While in private consultancy in Chicago and San Francisco, Pete worked nationwide on everything from bicycle infrastructure projects to airport master plans to hospital campus expansions. He has managed and served as lead planner on multimodal planning projects, public utility and solar farm implementation plans, and parking program development along major city corridors and downtown environs. A dynamic speaker, he has presented at several national and statewide conferences on how to model for travel behavior within a multimodal environment and measuring the effects of transportation impacts on the built environment.
