Paris has more than five years of experience in GIS analysis, spatial modeling, and cartography. She brings a wide array of experience in transportation planning including for transit, bicycle, pedestrian, and bike share. She is an expert in advanced spatial analysis, modeling, and cartography through which she develops engaging maps and graphics.
Paris uses a data-driven approach to solving transportation problems. She developed maps of the best service areas for the Bay Area’s expanding bike share system and is helping Alameda County develop a pilot student transit pass program. She was lead spatial model architect and spatial analyst for the innovative Google Bike Vision Plan, which looked at identifying key gaps in a regional bicycle network wherein enhanced connectivity would provide the greatest utility to the region.
