Max Scheideman works to create safe and accessible streets that connect people to places.

Max is a multimodal traffic specialist with more than five years experience in transportation analysis and design. He has a background in traffic engineering and planning, with strong skills in data analysis and safety analysis. Max has performed an extensive range of traffic impact studies for residential and commercial developments throughout Oregon, Washington, and California. His technical expertise includes graphic design, Synchro, Vistro, and traffic simulation.

Previously, Max worked on projects in Portland, OR that ranged from parking data collection to evaluating traffic impacts of proposed mixed use developments. Since joining Nelson\Nygaard, Max has worked on diverse projects including data collection and analysis for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Circulation and Accessibility Plan and an expansion of the Seattle RapidRide Bus Rapid Transit Network Plan.
