Liza Cohen works to understand individual transportation decisions to improve options wherever people live and work.

Liza has expertise in GIS analysis, data collection and visualization, and community engagement. She has worked on a range of projects, from parking and multimodal studies to transit analyses for universities and municipalities. Through all of her work, Liza takes a data-driven approach mixed with community insights to provide better transportation choices.

Liza has worked on multimodal studies in places ranging from Boston and Austin to Fayetteville, AR. With a strong interest in new technologies and sustainable choices, she has helped private developers and employers create work and living environments that integrate autonomous vehicles, rideshare, walking, and biking. She is the co-author of two papers on multimodal trip generation, published by the Transportation Research Board.
