Jewel has worked on a wide variety of transportation planning projects across California for both public agencies and private clients. With a background in advocacy in Los Angeles, she views each task through an equitable lens and values thoughtful community engagement. A daily transit rider, she understands how transportation impacts quality of life and uses her natural problem-solving skills to find the best solution for real people.

Jewel has played a key role in many local and regional projects ranging from a corridor analysis for the West Hollywood Metro Rail extension to a first/last mile analysis for existing and future Metrolink stations in Los Angeles. She is skilled at research, data collection, report writing, and the creation of visually compelling maps and outreach materials.
