Greta Vohlers knows that access matters.

Greta understands the many ways that transportation and access impact quality of life and is committed to creating effective, efficient, and reliable transportation networks. In her 15 years of transportation planning experience, she has focused on creating and implementing public transit services that benefit entire communities by connecting people to resources and opportunities. Greta specializes in producing transit plans that provide effective, equitable, and dependable services.

As the former Principal Planner with the Sacramento Regional Transit District, Greta oversaw service changes for a bus system that operated over 200 vehicles in maximum operation, initiated RT’s first formal program with ride-hailing companies to provide first- and last-mile connections to light rail and select bus services, and led planning efforts for service to major new destinations. Greta’s practical yet innovative approach seeks to find new ways to reliably provide transportation options.
