Cristina Barone plans for transportation equity and strives to improve lives through enhanced mobility.

Cristina has extensive experience with transit development planning, premium transit feasibility projects, comprehensive operational analyses, and infrastructure planning. She excels at ridership forecasting, transit finance, and public outreach. Cristina has worked on a variety of projects, from predicting future ridership in the Los Angeles area, to helping develop viable solutions for capital funding sources for Chapel Hill Transit in North Carolina, to providing conceptual station area recommendations for bus integration with light rail in Puget Sound.

Previously, Cristina worked for the Regional Transit System in Gainesville, Florida and developed an array of technical skills, including collecting and analyzing demographic data, using National Transit Database data, performing trend and peer analyses, reviewing local and state plans, and analyzing complex datasets.
