Brendan Rahman connects the dots between cities and health.

Brendan has more than five years of experience as a GIS and planning consultant with a focus on health. Comfortable with cartography, graphic design, and data analysis, he specializes in projects involving walking, biking, and multimodal networks. Brendan, who is also a member of the firm’s Visual Communications team, understands how to convey complex ideas using elegant visual and written communication.

Previously, Brendan worked on a variety of projects involving active transportation, health, and social development: assessing pedestrian safety near transit stations (Dhaka); illustrating the importance of street vendors for fresh fruit and vegetable access (Kathmandu); mapping the spaces used for children’s play in informal settlements (Kampala); and helping community groups across Canada use neighborhood-level data for their program needs.
