Columbus Short North District, an area north of downtown and near Ohio State University, is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the Heartland. Parking is where many of the area’s users intersect. Within the Short North, parking has and continues to be one of the most highly contentious yet valuable assets. The Short North Parking Final Report presents the issues and challenges and our recommendations to enhance economic development, protect residential neighborhoods, and provide convenient parking as part of a multimodal transportation system.
